Civil Servants Begin Receiving First Instalment of US$150 Special Presidential Bonus – Civil servants across Zimbabwe are today set to receive the first instalment of their US$150 Special Presidential Bonus, which will be paid together with their regular November salaries and annual bonuses, according to The Herald.

The initiative follows President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s approval of a one-off incentive aimed at recognising the commitment and hard work of government employees nationwide.

Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, Edgar Moyo, confirmed the development last month, stating that the total amount — US$150 — will be disbursed in two equal parts, with US$75 being paid in November and the remaining US$75 in December.

“The Special Presidential Bonus demonstrates the government’s appreciation of the tireless efforts of its workers in delivering services to the nation,” Minister Moyo said.

The additional payment comes at a crucial time as many families prepare for the festive season, providing a welcome financial boost to thousands of public sector workers.
