Chivayo Gifts ZITF Bulawayo Bosses 2025 Toyota Land Cruisers Worth US$400,000

Chivayo Gifts ZITF Bulawayo Bosses 2025 Toyota Land Cruisers Worth US$400,000 – Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has once again made headlines—this time for gifting two brand-new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series VXR vehicles, each worth an estimated US$200,000, to top executives of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Company.
In a Workers’ Day post on X (formerly Twitter), Chivayo announced that the luxury vehicles were a token of appreciation for what he described as “exceptional leadership” by ZITF Chairman Mr. Busisa Moyo and CEO Dr. Nicholas Ndebele during the recently concluded 65th edition of the ZITF in Bulawayo.

“While I may not be able to thank everyone from the ZITF Company, in RECOGNITION of the outstanding leadership, energy and sheer EXCELLENCE demonstrated, I am pleased to hand over two brand-new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 series VXR vehicles… I will be most HONORED if they accept this small gesture of APPRECIATION,” wrote Chivayo.
He added that the vehicles were fully paid for and ready for collection at Faramatsi Motors.
The announcement came alongside high praise for the ZITF’s execution of this year’s trade fair, which brought together over 800 exhibitors from more than 30 countries.
Chivayo described the event as “extraordinary” and credited the ZITF leadership for elevating the fair to “entirely new heights.”
The post has sparked debate online, with some applauding the gesture and others questioning the source of funds and motivations behind the lavish gifts.
The ZITF Company has not yet issued an official response regarding the acceptance of the vehicles.
