Chinese Woman with Rare Condition Gives Birth to Twins from Two Uteruses
A woman in northwestern China, identified as Ms. Li, gave birth to twins last month, each from a different uterus. This rare condition, called uterine didelphys, affects about 1 in 2,000 women.

The twins, a boy and a girl, were delivered via caesarean section at Xi’an People’s Hospital. The hospital described this as a “one in a million” event, as it is extremely rare for twins to be conceived and carried to term in separate uteruses.
