China Launches World’s First AI Hospital Staffed by 14 Electronic Doctors

China Launches World’s First AI Hospital Staffed by 14 Electronic Doctors – China has launched the world’s first AI hospital, where virtual patients are treated by artificial intelligence doctors.

This hospital is part of an AI-powered town designed to train and improve virtual doctors using a computer-generated environment.

According to Global Times, the project, called “Agent Hospital,” was developed by researchers from Tsinghua University.

In this virtual hospital, all doctors, nurses, and patients are run by smart AI systems using large language models that can work on their own.

These AI doctors are incredibly fast—they can treat 10,000 patients in just a few days, something that would take real doctors about two years.

Liu Yang, the lead researcher, explained that this system helps train real medical professionals by allowing them to test treatment methods on virtual patients without putting real lives at risk.

It also prepares them for different medical situations, like the spread of diseases in a specific area.
