Car Dealer Vanishes With US$25,000 Meant For Duty On Orphanage Vehicle

BEITBRIDGE – Given Dzimbanhete, a car dealer based in Beitbridge, is at the center of a police search after allegedly disappearing with $25,000 meant for duty payment on a donated vehicle.

The vehicle, intended for an orphanage, remains in limbo as authorities work to locate the suspect.

Dzimbanhete, who reportedly has ties to Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (@Zimra_11) officials in Beitbridge, has ceased all communication.

His whereabouts remain unknown despite efforts by law enforcement to trace him.

The case was first brought to light by Crime Watch Zimbabwe on Twitter (@CrimeWatchZW), which continues to provide updates on the situation.

Police have called on members of the public to report any information about Dzimbanhete’s location to their nearest station.
