Can Glamis Hold Winky D and Jah Prayzah Fans on New Year’s Eve?

As the glitter from Doek & Slay is still settling, the Glamis Arena is once again under the spotlight—this time over whether it can survive the combined force of Winky D and Jah Prayzah on December 31.

The question being asked everywhere is simple and loud: if a women-only Doek & Slay filled Glamis to the brim, what happens when everyone shows up?

“If Doek n Slay managed to fill the venue with women only, what happens when everyone comes through for Jah Prayzah and Winky D?” one fan fired on Facebook.

“This is not just a show, it’s a national event.”

Another chipped in: “Doek & Slay was glam, heels and selfies now imagine ghetto yuts, families, couples, everyone. Glamis will burst.”

One Big Party, headlined by Zimbabwe’s two biggest music heavyweights, is expected to draw fans from across the country, all eager to usher in 2026 with hits, fireworks and bragging rights.

“With two giants like Jah Prayzah and Winky D, people will come in numbers,” said a fan.

“The issue isn’t attendance it’s safety, space and comfort.”

Some fans want action now.

“Move the show,” one posted.

“Long queues, overcrowding and no breathing space will ruin the vibe.”

But others are backing the organisers.

“Organisers know what they are doing,” said another fan.

“They’ve handled big crowds before. Comparing every show to Doek & Slay isn’t fair.”
