Bulawayo Man F@tally Stabbed After Accusing Brother of Flirting with His Wife – A domestic row spiralled into d£adly violence in Nkulumane on Monday after a man was stabbed, allegedly by his own brother, following accusations of an affair involving his wife.

The victim, Thulani Ncube, reportedly confronted his younger brother, Albert, after discovering what he believed to be flirtatious messages between Albert and his wife.

“You’re banging my wife!” Thulani shouted, according to a neighbour who overheard the heated argument and spoke to B Metro.

“The tension was crazy, we could hear the shouting from next door,” added the neighbour, who declined to be named.

The situation quickly escalated when the eldest sibling, Brighton Ncube, attempted to defuse the fight but ended up taking Albert’s side—sparking an even more intense confrontation.

“Brighton tried to calm them down, but he took Albert’s side,” said local resident MaMoyo. “That only made things worse. Next thing, Thulani was bleeding.”

In a shocking and violent twist, Brighton allegedly pulled out a screwdriver and stabbed Thulani in the chest before fleeing the scene.

“I was in my yard when I heard the commotion. When I rushed over, I saw Thulani lying on the floor, groaning in pain,” recounted Mr Mpofu, a retired security guard. “It was like a horror scene. Blood was everywhere.”

Thulani’s panicked wife ran to neighbours for help as the community reeled in disbelief. Police from Tshabalala and paramedics from Bulawayo City Council responded swiftly, and Thulani was rushed to Mpilo Central Hospital where he is currently in critical condition.

The suspect, Brighton Ncube, is now on the run, and police have launched a manhunt. As of press time, law enforcement had not released an official statement.

The violent family fallout has left the Nkulumane community stunned. “This is shocking. These are brothers! We never expected such madness in that family,” said one resident.

MaMoyo added, “Was it guilt, rage or a jealous heart? Whatever it was, it turned deadly.”
