Bulawayo Holiday Inn Bomb Scare Turns Out to Be Mock Drill after Guests Unknowingly Storm Out for Safety

Bulawayo Holiday Inn Bomb Scare Turns Out to Be M0ck Drill after Guests Unknowingly Storm Out for Safety – A nerve-wracking moment for guests at the Holiday Inn hotel in Bulawayo earlier today, turned out to be nothing more than a routine drill—though nobody told the guests they were part of the cast.
An hour ago, visitors were abruptly evacuated from their rooms following what appeared to be a b0mb scare as reported by ZimLive.
Panic briefly gripped the premises as an ambulance arrived and police officers sprinted into the building, heightening the tension.
To add drama to the scene, the army’s b0mb disposal unit was also deployed.

But in a twist straight from a movie script, hotel management later clarified that the “b0mb scare” was in fact a m0ck drill, something they are required to carry out every six months.
“What people thought was a bomb scare was actually a mock drill—we’re required to conduct these every six months as part of our safety protocols,” Moyo explained.
In simpler terms, guests were unknowingly treated as m0ck clients in a full-scale emergency simulation.
