Bronson Reed’s Injury Shakes WWE: Major Feud Postponed, Return Anticipated by Mid-2025

WWE star and former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed suffered a devastating injury during the Survivor Series: WarGames main event in November 2024.
In a daring leap from the cage, Reed broke his foot, leading to a complex surgery in December.
The injury has sidelined him indefinitely, causing significant disruptions to WWE programming. As a result, WWE was forced to cancel Reed’s highly anticipated blowoff match with Seth Rollins, originally scheduled for January 2025.
This match was meant to bring their intense, long-running feud to a dramatic conclusion.
Instead, WWE expedited Drew McIntyre’s return to compensate for Reed’s absence. McIntyre replaced Reed in key programming, competing against Sami Zayn at January’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Reed’s rivalry with Rollins reached a boiling point in August 2024 when Reed unleashed six devastating Tsunami splashes (a signature move in WWE) on Rollins during an unforgettable episode of Raw. This intense feud intersected with Reed’s brutal “Last Monster Standing” match against Braun Strowman on September 30.
The feud culminated at Crown Jewel on November 2, where Rollins triumphed in a high-stakes showdown.
Recent reports revealed that Reed was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama, likely for a follow-up medical appointment.
Wrestling insiders suggest that Reed could return to the ring between May and June 2025, depending on the progress of his rehabilitation.
