Bomb threats on Manchester United captain’s home
Harry Maguire, the Manchester United captain has received bomb threats to his family home.
The bomb threat has since been reported to the Cheshire Police who conducted a sweep at Maguire’s home which established that there are no suspicious items.
On Thursday afternoon, Cheshire Police officers and an explosives dog conducted the sweep at Maguire’s home where he lives with his fiance Fern Hawkins and their two young children.
A Maguire family spokesperson told journalists that Harry had indeed received a serious threat to his home in the last 24 hours. adding that the family’s safety is Harry’s top priority at this moment.
The Manchester United captain has been a subject of abuse from Manchester United fans in stadiums and on social media for the club’s poor performance this season.
