Body of 30-Year-Old Woman Found With Copper Wire Around Neck
GURUVE – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched investigations into the murder of a 30-year-old woman whose body was discovered in Nyakapupu, Guruve, on 6 April 2025.
According to a statement shared on the ZRP Twitter handle, the victim’s body displayed visible injuries, including bruises on the knees, blood clots on the nose and a copper wire tied tightly around her neck.
Authorities reported that the victim’s skirt was pulled up and her lower garments were discovered a few meters away from the body.
These details, combined with the positioning of the clothing, have raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding the murder.
The police are working to gather evidence and identify witnesses who might have seen or heard anything unusual in the area.
They have urged members of the public with relevant information to come forward and report to the nearest police station to aid the investigation.
Investigators continue to call on community members to provide any leads that may help bring those responsible for the crime to justice.
