Ama2k Take Over as Piano Cuzzle Turns ZIEC Grounds into Amapiano Hotspot
The Piano Cuzzle event turned the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre into a lively, orange-lit dance paradise over the weekend.
Thousands of young revellers, particularly the energetic Ama2k generation, packed the venue for a night of pulsating Amapiano beats, fashion and urban culture, with Jägermeister proudly backing the festivities.
From the moment the first track dropped, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. DJ Wellyonz set the dancefloor ablaze with a high-energy set that kept the crowd moving nonstop.
DJ Sfiso followed with a mix of fresh Amapiano hits and classic anthems, though some attendees felt the set lacked the spark needed to maintain the momentum.
Crazy Dee brought explosive remixes, while Umlungu Omnyama took the audience on a seamless sonic journey with masterful transitions.
Other DJs, including Mtha Breezy 7, Brze Official, Ubhuti Ontsundu, DJ Mellow, DJ Sida, Molli 488 and Pyce, ensured the tempo remained high deep into the early morning hours.
Holding the night together was MC MTKay Ntwana, whose electrifying presence and crowd interaction kept the energy levels soaring.
Between music sets, fashion models strutted under orange spotlights, showcasing bold streetwear trends that complemented the night’s theme.
Speaking about the well-organized event, university student Craig Nxumalo told Herald: “It was incredibly well-planned and thoroughly entertaining.
“The venue was well-managed, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We look forward to an even bigger edition next time.”
As the night at ZIEC came to a close, the crowd moved to Cosmopolitan for the official after-party, extending the celebrations into the early hours.
More than just a concert, Piano Cuzzle became an immersive experience, a movement and a cultural statement cementing Amapiano’s growing influence in Zimbabwe’s entertainment scene.
