Access Bank Fires Employee Caught Secretly Recording Over 400 Videos of Colleagues in Restrooms

NIGERIA – Access Bank has terminated the employment of Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie after he was caught secretly recording colleagues in the restroom.

The shocking discovery at the bank’s contact center in Oniru, Lagos last week has sparked serious concerns over workplace privacy and security.

Ejezie was exposed when a female staff member spotted a phone recording her while she was bathing in a restroom cubicle. Upon investigation, he was found inside the restroom with no explanation for the footage.

A subsequent home raid led to the discovery of over 400 videos of colleagues in vulnerable moments.

Reports indicate Ejezie allegedly sold these recordings via OnlyFans and Telegram, with overseas buyers.

Staff members at Access Bank expressed deep shock, describing Ejezie as a trusted and skilled employee.

According to Gistreel, employees fear the bank may focus on damage control instead of prioritizing justice for victims, especially with concerns that sold footage may resurface online.

In response, Access Bank banned overnight stays at the office and warned staff against similar misconduct.

While the bank stated that it is cooperating with law enforcement and ensuring support for affected employees, workers remain unsettled, with some individuals still unaware they were recorded.

Access Bank has urged the public to follow official updates, reaffirming its commitment to the safety and dignity of employees and customers.
