Academic Triumph! HEXCO Results Released with an Impressive 72 Percent Pass Rate

The Government has officially released the results for the March/April 2025 National Foundation Certificate (NFC) and Higher National Diploma (HND) HEXCO examinations.

The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development confirmed the announcement, urging all HEXCO centres to collect their results from their respective regions starting today.

The results mark an important step in students’ academic progression, particularly in technical and vocational education.

Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Professor Fanuel Tagwira, commended all stakeholders involved in the examination process, including students, parents, educators and administrators.

He acknowledged their efforts, which contributed to a 72 percent pass rate for this examination session.

The Ministry emphasized that this outcome reflects dedication and commitment to improving education standards across the country.

According to the Herald, the release of the results underscores the critical role HEXCO plays in Zimbabwe’s education system, particularly in equipping students with essential skills for the job market.

Centres nationwide have been directed to collect the results promptly to ensure smooth academic progression and certification processing.
