A KFC Encounter, a Viral Compliment and a Lifelong Gift: Mysterious Girl Continues to Draw Praise for Her Natural Beauty
A brief compliment from global streamer iShowSpeed has sparked an unexpected act of generosity from one of Zimbabwe’s leading medical professionals, directed at a mysterious young girl celebrated online for her natural beauty.
Posting on X, award-winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono said he shared a video of iShowSpeed praising a young Zimbabwean woman’s natural hair with eye surgeon Dr Solomon Guramatunhu, who subsequently offered the woman free lifetime eye care.
“So, I shared this video of iShowSpeed telling a young Zimbabwean lady with natural hair that she is beautiful,” Chin’ono wrote on X.
“I do not know who this young woman is but Dr Guramatunhu asked me to pass on a message.”

According to Chin’ono, the surgeon pledged that as long as he continues practising in Zimbabwe, the young woman will receive free eye consultations and medical eye care at his practice.
Should she ever require spectacles, the costs will be fully covered, alongside all future eye-care needs.
Chin’ono said the gesture was Dr Guramatunhu’s way of appreciating the woman’s choice to embrace natural hair a choice that was publicly acknowledged by iShowSpeed during the now-viral KFC encounter.
