The incident, which occurred around 12:30 p.m., has left authorities searching for suspects who used an unknown object to break the vehicle’s rear right quarter glass.

The owner, who had momentarily left the vehicle unattended, returned to find the valuable stash gone, the break-in’s audacity underscoring Avondale’s growing security concerns.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to report to the nearest police station to assist in identifying the perpetrators.

Zimbabwe Republic Police, emphasizing their commitment to tracking down the suspects, issued an appeal on social media, asking the public to remain vigilant and avoid leaving valuables in vehicles.

The Avondale break-in highlights an ongoing need for greater caution, as thieves seem undeterred by daylight or busy urban areas in their hunt for valuable hauls. $17500 Snatched in Broad Daylight
