UK— A Lincolnshire mother was left in shock after her 1-year-old son accidentally consumed her late father’s cremated remains in a startling incident.

Natasha Emeny had briefly left the living room to put away laundry, only to return and find her toddler, Koah, smeared with ashes from an urn that was believed to be out of his reach.

Reports by the New York Post reveal that Emeny shared the ordeal with Caters News Service, expressing her disbelief when she realized what had happened.

“It took me a moment to understand what had happened,” she reportedly said.

Despite placing the urn on a high shelf, Koah managed to access it, spilling its contents during the process.

Medical professionals assured Emeny that her son would not face any health issues from the unexpected incident.

They advised giving Koah water to ensure his well-being.

Though initially horrified, Emeny later reflected on the surreal situation, adding, “My dad would have laughed; we all love a bit of dark humor.”
